Atrium Solutions, LLC has developed a hands-on and real-world applicable course that will provide the attendees a thorough understanding of responsibilities, processes, and activities specific to the Development Team on an agile project.  The course goes beyond theory focusing on real-world application and understanding.

This 2-Day course will address:

  • Understanding Scrum ceremonies

  • Assisting Product Owner in Backlog Grooming

  • Understanding various relative estimating tools & techniques

  • Mastering Sprint Planning

  • Building & managing Sprint Backlogs

Target Audience

Software engineers, architects, programmers, database developers, testers, DevOps, and any other development roles.

Course Objectives

Upon successful completion of this course, students will have an understanding of:

  • Clearly articulate the role of Developers in Agile

  • Clearly define and train on relative estimating

  • Understand the difference between velocity and capacity, and how to calculate each

  • Develop estimates using and industry standard tool

  • Develop tasks, plan daily work, and manage sprint backlogs

  • Effectively participate in Sprint Planning sessions
